Tuning Moto Guzzi V11 Ballabio cylinder balance

I sucked a little cooking oil (~1m length) into a single 5 to 6m hose and connected each end to the engine inlet tubes. So don't cut the hose in two, you only need two ends and one tube. Then pull up the hose from the inlets, and while the center part where the oil is stays as low as possible, rise the middle part high, so that there are two levels of oil visible and as much distance for the oil to climb up as possible. 4mm hose was a little tight for the oil to run, so the bubbles were a little difficult to get rid off. On the other hand, small hose damped pretty well the cylinder pulses. Perhaps a choke valves would be good. Then possible water would work as well. The balancing was surprisingly sensitive, just turning the nut 30 degrees changed about 10 cm oil level. Finally adding a little gas, changed the balance again 10 to 20 oil centimeters, because the idle screw is on right cylinder, but the gas cable comes to the left one. My tuning was not complete from beginning. I had mixed the nut of balance bar as the locking had got lose. So I needed to fix that, and didn't tune the idle screws at all. But with a little gas as well as on idle I tuned the plastic tuning screw of the balance bar so that the oil levels were equal. If the balance hasn't been mixed somehow, like I did, I don't believe there is much reason to tune it. I have noticed that lose valves make the idle not perfect. I also turned the throttle position sensor a little leaner, at the same time a little ...
